The Halliwell Manor is the house that the charmed ones live in it has been in the family for generations. The Halliwell Manor is built in the middle of a pentagram with each point representing the 5 natural elements, wood, fire, water, earth and metal. Its also built on the nexaics that can be controled by good or evil. Having the house built on it stops evil from getting it. You can get to the nexaics by the bacement. There is a floor plan of the Ground floor below but the top floor know one knows as it doesn't exist. When making charmed the same set is used for Pipers, Prues, Paiges, Phoebes, Wyatt and Chris's bedrooms. The outside of the house is a real house in Los Angels but it has nothing inside.
